Default more record cleaning on the cheap :D

A lovely day for cleaning records, here's what i do.
first give them a soak in tepid water.I use a purpose made label protector i bought from the states

Next a good scrub using a paint pad and triton x

Next a good rinse under the tap! SHOCK! HORROR!

Next 2 rinses in distilled water and each is sucked up using the upholstery attachment on a vax carpet cleaner,i stuck a moth record machine pad on the bottom of the tool.

Lastly air dry, although they dont need it. shiny shiny!

Default more record cleaning on the cheap 😀

No substitute for a moth or such.

Hold their price quite well too. Worth investing in one if you can afford it Really does improve vinyl better than an expensive cart. Might be selling all mine to get a buggy. In time.

Oh my god! There's nothing wrong with the bidet is there?

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

I clean my vinyl using the " Jamie " system and the results are easily as good as I got sending them off to be professionally washed and hoovered. Just takes a bit of time and effort.

They were and in all honesty I was very pleased with the results but using your method yields just as good, and some of the records were in a right state.
