    I'm Martin.

    Default Tip for LP12/Lingo Owners

After a 3 week period of rest I re-installed my LP12 and found that the on/off switch did not work properly
The red led indicator did not come on but the T/T still spun at 33rpm
The green led came on and worked as it should
So I sought a replacement switch and eventually found the last one at a helpful Linn dealer

So I disconnected the umbilical from my Lingo Mk1 and the multipin connector fell apart!!!!!!

The moral of this tale dear readers for anyone with a Lingo of any age with the odd multi pin connector.......check that it is tight 'cause when I did and put it back EVERYTHING WORKED

I now am down £30, have a spare but will not now have to take the LP12 apart
