Default Recommend me a good Carbon Fibre Brush

I've had my 'fancy' Audioquest carbon fibre brush for while http://www.analogueseduction.net/bru...ing-brush.html and probably need a new one.

    Any recommendations please ?

I've had quite a few of these ie: the simple silver ones that come with different names on but probably the same thing, varying in price depending on who's names printed on

Had the blue horizon too, it's ok, no better than the forementioned generic silver ones in my experience ( I've proibably answred my own question here )

Incidently, I think the 'fancy' Audioquest is overated...

So come, someone surprise me ?

Hi Rob, I have the Audioquest gold carbon fibre brush but I have given up using them altogether after I found they created lots of static on my vinyl when I used them. Stopped using them and the static went away.

Hi Peter, Do you not find the velvet aspect pushes dust into the grooves like the cheapo velvet only ones do ?

No, not encountered that scenario, nor any additional static as previously mentioned.

Hi Rob, are you using an RCM to clean vinyl first?

lol, knew that'd come Havnt got one yet but have looked into it / them.

I'd want a good (funds) biggest issue really for me is space.

I only purchase nm / mint vinyl if I can help it so the large majority of my vinyl is in great order.

I am aware though that a clean is the ultimate regardless

It's essential mate. Even the broken one I have here is demonstrative of that. Seriously important.
