    From the NHS website

If you're trying to lose weight, the safe weekly rate of weight loss is between 0.5kg and 1kg. That's between around 1lb and 2lb a week.

Lose weight faster than this and you're at risk of health problems that include malnutrition and gallstones, as well as feeling tired and unwell.

Really good info on the NHS website.

Yes. I've seen the opinions. They remind me of those for eating breakfast, which I never do.

Slimming World is great! When Mrs Pony goes to the weighbridge each Monday I get the house to myself for a couple of hours, my opportunity to play some of the music choices she politely refers to as "shite".

Plus most of the Slimming World meals she makes are brilliant, and made me lose a little weight too.

I think I'm starting diet from Monday evening so just a couple of 'normal' meals before then. Then it's just 600 calories a day for me until I've lost about two stone which should be about three months odd

I'm also having a last little drink tonight, alcohol wise, for many weeks

I reduced what I ate as a permanent diet.
Has worked well and now weight seems stable

Ive lost a fair bit. As usual you lose most in first couple of weeks. Now it's a steady dribble. Cut out the big problem foods and fill up on stuff with fewer cals.

Chicken fish and pork for protein and rice for staple filler. Plenty fibre. Both types. Reduce salt. Fruit and veg. Oats. Use mild cream cheese instead of cheddar etc. Semi skimmed instead of whole. Candarel instead of sugar. That sort of thing. Don't eat after 7pm. Keep well hydrated with water

A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

I wandered round today in my sandals and campervan t shirt realising that i have so much torso weight now and I just look fat with a huge beer belly and chest weight. The t shirt tents out like Im pregnant...all bought and paid for I joke but its not funny really

My neck size has gone up to a 17 and was a 15.5 not so long ago. Luckily the charity shops had some lovely collezione M&S and next shirts etc because Im having to change my wardrobe fast. Its the nice clothes that no longer fit that bugs me

Ive gone from a medium in certain things to bulging out of a large size and needing extra large

Its not funny and I have been reading about 7 day fasting with minimal intake. Ive been stuffing my face and it needs sorting says someone who has a fridge full of beer and who has just finished a pack of Sainsburys bakery counter biscuits.

Its just pure laziness with me at the moment and I do intend to start running and join the gym...maybe tomorrow eh

I have a job finding anything that fits me in the way of clothes and shoes. Not because of weight, just because I'm a strange shape and size. I need XL jackets 'cos I'm quite wide, but the sleeves are always too long. Trousers are always too long for my short legs and finding 5 1/2 sized shoes for my small feet is tricky!
