Default A trip down memory lane

I decided to fire up my Revox A77 today , Purchased from Philip ( of Lodgesound team fame )
I also put in a tape the Stewart of Lodgesound fame ( Rip mate ) compiled for me

Wow it still sounds excelent , Stewart did a master ( If thats what you call it ) from his highend Studer machine , Produced with both Stewart and Philip in attendance at Stewart's lodge

At first I thought the A77 was fubar'd as it was playing at about 30ips , But panic over , Numpty me had the tape path wrong , All sorted now

    RIP Stewart.

Lovely chap. Really miss his knowledge, I always read his posts.

I was about to buy a machine from him but unknown to me regarding his health he passed away.

    Such a shame.

I bet its nice to sit back and listen to that tape, Al.

Mine doesn't look like that, my front panel reaches all the way across from side to side, as can be seen in my avatar.
Mine does have a carrying handle.
