Default WTD: Audio Innovation L1 preamp or similar

As per title, looking for one of these or something very similar if such exists.
There is one on eBay but it is collection only and a bit far off.

Got an email from a friendly Wammer suggesting maybe something like the below. I did have my eye on it. Anyone know much about them?

Also this one caught my eye:

Made in China but maybe worth a punt, I think it's one of those things you'd have to take a chance on?
But it could be OK, it won't be the finest but what do you expect at the price.

Its a great little pre amp. I used one for a while.

If you can stretch your budget a bit, I have a P2 that I will sell.

Its really great and a very big step up from the P1.

here is an old sale thread

Brian, the P2 is a phono stage, do you mean the L2.

    Chris, yes. My mistake.

    I have a P2 and an L2.

I meant the L2 pre amp.

That P2 is very nice indeed, just got back into valves myself with a Puresound 2a3.

If the OP can afford your L2, then it's a no brainer.

The first one looks nice, octal type valves with point to point wiring at a bargain price. I wonder if the valves are compatible with 6SN7/6SL7 types which would be nice.

    Thanks for the comments.

Reason for the L1 or other eBay options is due to the small footprint - needing something small.
