Ha - some folk would pay a fancy 'garden designer' thousands to create that look!

I prefer the 'natural look', and when it comes to lawns dislike stripes.

No, thought I'd re-arrange my stamp collection instead.

Are you nuts? What sort of a question is that? Although I swear Istanbul took 5 years off my life.

Lol... Well, you don't really discuss footy much, certainly not on the thread provided for it

Anyway, be prepared for another emotional roller-coaster ride. I fancy Livepool's chances, but Real Madrid going for their third CL win in a row [which is just nuts] worries me, as they'll be massively motivated to do so.

Plus, they have the mental toughness and winning mentality (as well as the skill) to win such huge tournaments. They're used to it, which unfortunately Liverpool aren't to the same degree.

However, it could be the year for Kloppo to get his just reward for how well he's been developing Liverpool as a team. Let's just hope that Salah's got his shooting boots on, and that at the other end, Van Dijk keeps the door shut!

I'll be glued to the game with my dad and a friend, who's a mad Liverpool fan.... COME ON YOU REDS!!

I don't have Sky Sports and MotD pisses me off too much these days so I rarely watch it. Linekar, mainly. Not much to discuss if you haven't actually watched the game.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Too many foreign players, too much money, too much chopping and changing in the squads and with the managers. They are gradually ruining it like they already did with F1.
