Default Belkin PureAV PF40 Mains Filter

Letting this go as I need to move some stuff on pending a house move. No room to keep it!

Belkin's fab mains filter/multi-way. It's not a regen unit, but it made a big difference to my rig. Sockets for analogue and digital kit, as well as an unfiltered high-current socket for amps. Ludicrously chunky 3m mains cable. Anti-spike too, very useful if you live in the sticks as I did and had a problem with power cuts. Lots of connections for networks, phone, satellite etc which I never used. Spare socket in front, under a cover. Funky mains voltage readout. Two small scratches on the front of the unit, not really noticeable when in situ. Other than that, in excellent condition. Boxed with all accessories inc rack mount ears.

£150 plus postage at cost, or pickup from near J23 of the M5 in Somerset (Bridgwater way)

Wavy grooves go thru a RigB 540ML on an SL1500C. Digits stream from a cheapie CDP and a Sonos, into a Yamaha 803D driving Kralk Audio little 'uns. I used to have a Linn but I'm better now.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
