New Speakers
Just managed to get hold of a pair of the big brothers to my active monitors. 8” woofers compared to 5”.
These are the smaller monitors that have been replaced.
A bit of a size difference!
The big ones oddly seem much more hifi, more involving and have better imaging. Much better kick from the 8” drivers as well. The smaller monitors are much more neutral and tightly focused.
I like these a lot and having the preamps built in along with multiple balanced and unbalanced inputs they solve a lot of issues for me, but not really for box swappers though.
The family are slowing coming to terms with the change in size.
