    Default Voyd turntable PSU replacement

Where else to ask than in the Homeland of the mighty Voyd turntable...:

My PSU for the Voyd (early version - 3 motors) has developed a fault which an technician struggles with - it takes forever..

I miss the Voyd, so my question is if anyone here has some practical experience with a PSU that can be obtained and actually works with the Voyd ?

Thanks in advance - I really do hope that some of you may have an answer..

    Best Wishes from Denmark

I'd suggest a similar thread on DIYaudio, not that the experience isn't here, but there will be more of it there. Three phase PSU aren't too complex..

Good call, and unless I'm remembering wrong wasn't Guy at PureSound a Voyd man as well?

Yes I think he may well have been at AN,I also think he was involved in the original Guy Adams design.

It was Les Wolstenholme who originally developed a turntable with two motors, Guy Adams then took it a stage further.

Simon of SJS ACOUSTICS is a trade member on here, he can service and do repairs for the Voyd.

Another recommendation for Simon of SJS Acoustics. He's really knowledgable and very, very helpful. Also unusually he won't encourage you to spend money on anything he regards as unnecessary. He has a thread in his trade area on repairs to a Voyd PSU.

Having said that Guy of Puresound is great to deal with as well.
