    I'm, so old that I remember when Redex was free at petrol stations.

    The assistant would ask, "How many gallons sir, and do you want any shots?"

    Shots were shots of Redex from a large can, normally, one shot per gallon of petrol.

    I'm old enough to have owned a good few cars that came with starting handles (most of them needed them too ).

    But my cars had wooden pistons, think they still do.

    had one or two with them, have to admit. was never used much tho,except winding it up backwards up a sand dune.(like you do)
