Used to buy the magazine in the '60s, also 'Practical Electronics' and, later, 'Elector' magazine. As well as the occasional 'Wireless World'.
I have a few early copies of early audio magazines, Hi-Fi News in particular. Yes, prices in those days seem to be very low, but compared to an average person's weekly wage they were comparatively expensive. Hi-fi has always been an expensive hobby, unless you build much of it yourself (which is what I did to start).
