Default am i being to fussy or anal?

as above i bought this as 'new old stock' the seller confirmed 0 hrs on it.
i noticed straight away the cantilever was slightly off but thought it would bed in.
it hasn't after 2 days of long listening, dont get me wrong it sounds great and i always align the cantilever anyway, perhaps the body is out?

    what do you think guys?
send it back for a full refund?
    live with it?
send it off to be sorted?

i know its not badly leaning to the right but it makes me wonder if it has 0 hrs on it?

about 5 hrs use from me?

Maybe it comes right when anti skating is applied? Otherwise not sure what to say, doesn't look too wonky but many would be concerned. You aren't being anal in my book...

if you do send it back Jamie, make sure you clean off all that crap hanging on the stylus, the seller might think you bent the cantilever. Not always a good idea posting on forums then wanting to return stuff as Adrian found out with his amplifier troubles.

Oh and no I don't think you are being anal, I wouldn't expect to buy something unused to look like that

Michael Fremer wrote an article about this once, giving off about many new carts and pretty high end ones often having a cantilever that is not square on to the body. If this one sounds fine its probably ok. Always align by cantilever and not the body anyway.

i always do mate,it sounds fine, also the rarity of it makes me reluctant to send it back. its just an annoying niggle that will be in the back of my mind.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

I don’t think you are being anal at all, but perhaps slightly concerned.

Tried to take a picture of my 103 Pro (see below) and not quite the offset you are showing. Perhaps a few more hours for the suspension to free up is in order.

If not then back to the seller.
