Prices for Techies have been higher for a while now. A mint, boxed, unused MK2 is a fairly rare find - I'd say up to £700ish in current climate
My System:

Speakers - Spendor D7 on Soundcare SuperSpikes
QED Silver Spiral speaker cable-airloc banana plugs

I'm Mark.
Best prices for used ones seem to be between £500 and £600, maybe an auction starting at £600 would be best?

Thanks for the answers,
probably an auction at ebay, with a starting price 600 pounds, is the best solution.

Story is that last Saturday a dear friend called me, her mother died and she had to empty the apartment ,
so I left with my car full of equipment (some pretty serious stuff among them, like a pre-power yamaha cx1000/mx1000 set, a couple of nakamichi decks etc) all in nm condition
the techie (the only one that was still sealed) is the only one that she wants-insists to be sold, I can keep the others or sell some or all of them and give her the money (which is what I'll do)
meanwhile, I have an avid diva ii and 3 lenco's (two 75's & a 78) so no room for another tt
