    Post Hello all

    Nick, from Glasgow.

Currently using a Cambridge Audio DAC Magic+, Sony STR-DH520 AV system & Kef IQ50s (with a nice Beresford Capella if the occasion calls for my HD700s)

I'll take the cliche answer when it comes to my favourite music and say I'll listen to most genres but I'd say when in the hi-fi mood Radiohead, Jack Johnson and John Martyn are likely to make an appearance

Consentrating on paying off my 700s at the moment so no plans for the hifi at the moment, I’m very comfortable with set up I have just now, I love the warm sound it produces. I also live in a flat with some let’s say hard to deal with neighbors so if anything it’ll be an upgrade for my headphone rig

If you look through the Artist's Palette section you'll find chat about headphones. You can of course start your own thread if you have questions.

    Hi Nick, welcome from me.

Regardless of your neighbours preferences you can legally play music any volume you want up to 1100 at night, start today and get them used to the idea
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

I've had new neighbours since and they seem a lot more friendly so I've been able to enjoy my hifi more often than I had before

Yeah I've never been one to have my music loud beyond 7 or 8 anyway, I guess once I speak to them it's all about finding a balance with them

Belated welcome from me - welcome to AoS Nick.

Glad to hear the neighbour problem has resolved itself.
