Actually. I gave myself a trim with the clippers this morning. The stubble is about 1mm now.

I clipper my hair about every 4 or 5 weeks, what bit there is. Her indoors thinks I'm joking when I say "leave it another week till the weather gets warmer". Even though there's next to no hair, I can still feel the cold when it's cut.

I don't mind at all being a slap-head, but it was horrible when it started going. You'd bend down to pick something up, and someone would say, "Eeh, you're going a bit thin on top", and you just want to slap them.

Baldies like to say, "Grass doesn't grow on a busy road". My road is certainly busy, and no-ones obeying the highway code.

Long term memory will keep us entertained in our dotage, but not much use in the here and now. When I'm asked if I remembered to put the bins out, it's no good saying "Not sure, but give it a few years and it'll come back to me". Binmen are long gone by then

I do think older men look better with short hair, even if they've still got most of it. I recently tried on a hair extension belonging to one of my daughters. It wasn't a good look. She took a picture, but fortunately I don't know how to put pictures on here.
