Yes, Wales on the coast west of Cardiff. Fully retired now so the China adventure is finished, still got friends out there, so will pop over occasionally.

Will be moving again when this place sells, but that will be it - I can finally get rid of all the boxes/crates, set up my stereo for good and take it easy

Had a job since 14 and never not worked in 44 years, so I'm happy to call it a day. I've moved 36 times too, so time to call it a day there!

A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

Another sunny but cold day here on North Gower, no real snow at all yet. The joy of living on West coast near sea I suppose. Big hugs to all those who have it bad, keep safe and warm.

    Hi Malcolm,

What is St David's like? I love West Wales and when looking on the map, it looked like a potentially nice place to go

We'd love to move over to the West at some point, so where would you recommend that's scenic, off the beaten track [we like the 'land that time forgot' aspect of things] but also near a reasonable-sized town, so we could do some basic shopping?

Here in North Wales the snow has stopped [boo-hoo], so what's here (on the ground) is just what fell yesterday. Looking forward to tomorrow and Friday though, when it's supposed to be coming down in sheets!

    Marco.

North Gower? Lovely spot. My dad's family came from Sketty and Mumbles, so I know the Gower well.
