Default FS: Pair of Nelson Pass Mosfet Amplifiers

Couple of Nelson Pass Stereo Clas A mosfet amplifiers.

They both perform exactly the same but the connector(s) layouts are different on each.

These two have been fitted with a preamp each and therefore would be suitable for a single line level input or several via a switching device.

Both supplied with a 4.2A 'Wallbrick' type power supply for the amplifier and a figure 8 mains lead for the preamp (see pictures).

If you'd like to buy one and have a preference for amp one or amp two please specify when PM-ing a request.

£100 each plus postage. UK postage is Amp 1 - £7. Amp 2 - £6 (One weighs more as it has extra packing) Other parts of the world PM for postage quote.

Payment by Paypal gift or bank transfer in UK, Paypal gift everywhere else.

Sorry for late replies. I've replied by PM to Idlewithnodrive.

VinylnValves: Amp # 2 may be sold, waiting for a reply.

I do have a third so I could let you have a pair if you're still interested.

I was going to keep one for myself but as I'm now quite content with my other setups I could let it go.

The idea of me making three, incidentally, was to make a three way active crossover (an Elektor design) to go with them but somewhere along the way my passion for the project cooled.

I've used the Amp Camp amplifiers with the Frugel horns also advertised here and they do compliment each other well.

Yes I am interested still, I assume the preamp sections could be easily bypassed as would want to run them direct from my DSP. Does the 3rd one look like the others? PM me.

It looks similar but not the same. It performs exactly the same though, I've used a frequency generator and oscilloscope to look at all three, they're identical.

The preamp could be easily bypassed, yes, which would also negate the need to use the Fig 8 mains cable.

I will take them, cosmetics don’t worry me. If they sound as good as I hope I can pimp them up later.
