The same thing happens with leica camera's, I heard a story of a very early limited edition sealed boxed lecia being sold at auction with xrays to prove it was still in the box... How much is the USB stick of the Beatles' albums? The highest res you'll ever need of these old analogue recordings. Record them back to analogue tapes and there you go...
