Default Groovy little reel to reel in The Alfred Hitchcock Hour

The year is 1964, the TV Show is The Alfred Hitchcock Hour and it's episode 26 from season 2 : Ten Minutes from Now.

Steve McQueen's wife, the lovely Neile Adams, is playing an undercover cop trying to incriminate a suspect by wearing a wire when chatting him up in a bar.
He touches her leg, causing her handbag to fall rather heavily on the floor.
He picks it up, opens it and discovers the coolest miniature reel-to-reel tape recorder ...

This is Adams' character demonstrating the device to her superiors earlier in the show :

Looks a bit like one of the 'Fi-Cord' miniature tape recorders.

I was stunned at how compact it was.
    I know it's a bit of a brick by today's standards, but it's a miniature marvel for the 1960s.
