    I'm David.

    Default Hello from the Wirral

    Hello everyone,
I've been a member for a while but never got round to posting my hello until now.
I've been a record collector since school and I've still got those Free, Bad Co and Rory Gallagher albums.
I've had quite a bit of kit or the years but the last ten have seen me sticking with Garrard 401, Audionote Conquest and Quad 57's in one room and a Marantz, T-amp, Tannoy CD system in my workshop. The 401 is a bit unusual in that it's got an Airtangent Parallel tracking tonearm on it. It cost be an arm and a leg 10 years ago, I must have been mad..
I like a bit of DIY and I'm currently building a LDR preamp from Stereo Coffee just for the hell of it.
Looking forward to being a bit more active now I've introduced myself.
    Dave

    Hi David. Welcome to AOS.

If you're building an LDR pre-amp, maybe you'd like to feature it in the Drawing Board section. I'm sure it woule be of interest.

Feel free to get involved and have a chat with everybody.

    Enjoy the frum,
    Geoff.

    Hello David,
Welcome. There are a couple of members on the Wirral(Ian W) who occasionally drop in-I tend to fraternise with the JBL/Tannoy nerds mostly(for my pains;-).
