    I've used the RG316/u in a number of experimental cables and ultimately I just don't think it's very good as an audio cable.

    What is it about them you don't like? Just asking as not got much experience with that cable.

    However I've used it I thought it was a bit 'grainy', a bit 'two dimensional' and not particularly detailed.
