Strong STRONG reccommendation for this HDMI cable...genuine Stepchange better.

Spending more time nowadays on American high end forums and its always interesting to see what trends those guys go with regarding equipment and cables.
Recently upgraded my Moviewatching to 4K, so changes in player, TV, disks and cabling: and as always trying to get best bang for buck.

In American AV forums, this cable company kept coming up...
Monoprice.

A bit of a Cash n Carry for electronics products in that they do most stuff, but their HDMI cables kept coming up in high end forum discussion.
Nowadays cant be faffed with sidegrading and the whole hifi kit "ratrace" so trying to put into effect Kit that I'd be happy livng with and not wanting to change.
Spend so much over the years with that, no more.
Point of all that was I was willing to spend money on cables to GET IT RIGHT...so I could forget about it and move on.

But still..these Monoproce cables kept coming up in discussion.
Only needed 2 cables in my setup, and short length was ok, so willing to push the boat out pricewise.
Had Mark grant HDMIs with my 1080P setup and was more than happy, so that was my baseline.

Took a 30 day trial on a Wireworld Platinum HDMI as I'd read great things about it.
Also read the Monoprice cable was a "Giant Killer"...but how many times have we all read THAT?

Direct comparison..the ten buck cable was better.
4K 60FPS 4:4:4 HDR 10 rock solid on all sources.
Immediately ordered 2 and called it done.

Monoprice bought these guys over and incorporated a revised version of it in their 18Gbps HDMI cables, and shitting crikey it makes all the difference.
AV cabling...Done.
