Lol, there may be no tomorrow!!!
Seriously, I've been doing a lot of listening, visiting others to listen and pulling the meat from the bones for a while now and the only thing I've bought blind for a bit was the Decca. It was only bought on the knowledge it'd be easy to move on if I didn't like it.
The difference is I know what I want to hear and know how to go about getting it. The last piece of my jigsaw will be some Hashimoto HM-3 to partner the Kontrapunkt b I've had on trial for weeks and now paid for.
Hashimotos, Denon HA-500, Bobs devices, Ortofon T5, Denon 320, A&R HA-10 and more have all been in my system to try and the Hashimoto HM-3 have it.
I've been very thorough
Indeed - realised a long time ago that there has to come a point in this game when the meddling, spending and chasing has to stop and the just really enjoying the union of good system and good music begins.
That is absolutely my aim. Been a tough couple of years with one thing and the other needing sorting system wise but once she's up and running again it's gonna be nothing but playing tunes tunes tunes and more tunes for me -
Cause after all is said and done, it's all about the music at the end of the day

Just some Tannoys to go then?

im not sure it does stop Robbie, I've been playing about for ten years or so. Mostly DIYing while listening to what I had. Open baffles, front horns and box speakers made by yours truly. Also making tone arms and turntable plinths. I've been fairly settled for a while and then the Decca C4E came up so I eventually succumbed knowing it would be easy to move on. But I've got it singing in my set up so it's staying for the foreseeable. Never say never.

Oh my god! There's nothing wrong with the bidet is there?
“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".
“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”
"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”
“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
