Lol... Now, here's the thing: is it a "Tenuto", or (as per the thread title) a "Tunento"?

If it's the former, then even Peter's not quite sure what it is!

    Hi Marco,

I definitely know what it is ..... “Tenuto” is the correct name.

Unfortunately, it’s my typing that’s at fault.(picture below)

Utterly Gob smacked... that’s GOOD Gob smacked.

I won’t go over everything the Bigman80 (Oliver) has already said but I totally agree with his comments. It’s made this deck into a SUPER DECK.

+ the bling factor. Now I will sit back and enjoy the music !!

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Nice one, Peter. Looks great! Aesthetically, I think it also suits your T/T.

    Thread title now amended.

    Enjoy

Well, I'm not gonna say "told you so"

I am so pleased you've experienced that "gobsmacked" feeling. It was like that for me too. The more you use it, the more you will realise how good it is.

Looks fantastic on your TT mate. A truly stunning looking and sounding (I imagine) TT.

    Congratulations

they don't have a smug look emoticon on here otherwise I would use it. I thought that mat would be the icing on the cake, the only real difference between my deck and yours is the arm, but mine is no slouch. Super decks all round Peter and Oliver.
Is that a Benz wood SL Peter

PAUL, Indeed it is the Benz wood SL.

Many are not keen on this cartridge, perhaps it might be something to do with what arm is used and more importantly what phono stage. For me, it just does it perfectly.

I also have a couple of other carts... Koetsu Urushi black and a Denon 103 Pro.

For me, the all rounder is the Benz but I do treat myself with a few plays with the Koetsu Urushi Black when I feel the need but always frightened of what if I damage the cart.

A dear friend has the koetsu Jade for sale.... and keeps saying you need this........ but perhaps I need a hole in the head first and I don’t have £8k spare for a needle.
