    Default Morning All

New here, and looking to build a valve based system.

I work from home and want a little system that can make music enjoyable for hours and hours on end.

I've ended up here several times, in the search for cherished kit, or product reviews, so you seem like my kind of people!

I also offer an excellent line in financial services, so if you require advice then PM me.

    Morning Nigel

    Welcome aboard

Do you currently have a system or is it a complete start from scratch (There is a nice little EL84 World Designs amp for sale in the classifieds that might fit the bill)

Also tell us what you listen too

Thank you, i'll take a look.

I don't have anything at the moment, I am starting again from zero! Audio Note stuff, albeit Level 1/2 at the moment, is pushing my buttons, but open to other things.

I spend most of the day at my desk, so it's background music, rather than focused listening. My source material is all low res digital, so that will need sorting too, but convenience is high with iPlayer, Radio Paradise, Apple Music etc.

    Hi Nigel. Welcome to AOS.

Building a new system gives you a huge amount of options. I dare say budget will be the ruling factor.

Members can give opinions on most equipment, so just ask if you need to.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
