    could i have a lend of it oli do you think?
    one of these is on the cards in the future,
    what has he done to it over a standard one?

    Simon Shilton sells a complete unit, there are photos in the trade section under SJS Electroacoustics.

    His work is second to none in my experience, recommended.

    My guys looking for just the transformers rather than the complete unit but I'll give him a shout and see what he's got. Thanks for the tip off!

    I got mine from a US-based Japanese guy called Isao Asakura support@obsinc.us

    He arranged to have mine delivered to an onsen in the mountains north east of Kyoto, direct from the Hashimoto factory (I was on holiday in Japan at the time and considered it the best way to beat customs), but I'm sure he'd be pretty accommodating when it comes to sending to UK. Really nice guy.
