From what I can see the XTZ remote controls just the amplifier.
The Bryston one controls just about everything they've ever made. All the CDPs/BDPs/Preamps/DACs, you name it. It will doubtless come with a long guarantee too, although probably not the 25 year one they give with their amplification.
