Default Anyone tried using an EMF meter?

Not for ghost hunting, but for placing hifi equipment.

Saw this on Amazon and wondered for less than 20 quid might be useful, especially for placing a TT

I'd say that if you don't live under a pylon you would be better off spending your money on music. And if you do live under a pylon you'd be better off spending your money on moving.

Especially costing less than £20. You need to spend quite a bit more than that.

It might be amusing to see how much stray magnetic field is created by the turntable motor, otherwise it is just another thing to worry about unnecessarily.

How do they null out the emf produced by the phone itself?

I bought the EMI detector made by Supra, very good for checking for live wires and checking for proper mains shielding as well.

I may try that model, I hope it will show the effects that all the WiFi points make.
