How easy are the gas ones to use. I was looking at getting a new soldering iron and LIdls ad none left.
    What about?

It would not get heavy use?

Not a whole lot different to any other although best for small jobs in free space. A bit awkward and hot at some angles inside a bit of kit imo. Fine for cables etc and the like. Ive 2 gas bolts and a electric

I used mine for the first time today. It worked really well. But has anyone found a way to stop the plastic collar at the end of the holder spring from constantly falling off! There is a metal ring/ disc on the iron that catches the collar and dislodges it every time I take the iron out from the holder. Irritating, but at the price.........
