    Default Technics SL-1000R

    Technics SL-1000R looks very interesting for those who think about Technics as DJ turntables. Could be tempted by this one.

    Technics SL1200 with SME V and Ortofon 2M Black. Mike New bearing/platter. Isonoe feet. Timestep PSU. Achromat. Dynavector P75III phono. Naim Supernait/HiCap. Oppo UDP 205 Blu Ray, CD, SACD, DVD-A disc spinner. Spendor S5e speakers. BAP mains block. Various mains/interconnects. Tube Distinctions Mains power filter courtesy Mark Grant. D-I-Y bamboo shelves with cone feet.

    And in the wonderful world of hi-fi there is always dollar-pound parity regardless of the actual exchange rate. So that's 20 thousand pounds sterling. Still, we can dream.

    As far as I'm aware the picture I posted is the new SL-1000R, the version of the SP-10 complete with tonearm and plinth. Also there may be a plinth available to take extra tonearm(s). No price as yet from Panasonic. I'd expect it to come in around 8-9k with arm.
