    Small change of perspective ... dug out some studio monitor isolation spongey things that tilt the speakers down towards the listener, far wider soundstage this way and less sound going straight into the carpet.

    Beginning to think these have gone unused for a long time they've been getting better and better as they've had a few hours on them.

    I've noticed the same with Tannoy purchases, not just Eatons. Some definitely 'come on song' after a bit of use. You may find they continue to improve with a few days more.
