Default [FS] Firebottle Air Hybrid Power Amp - Dual Mono

    As above, in excellent condition.

Since owning it has been back to the great man to be dual-monoed and checked. Has a high/low gain switch to aid use with passive/active preamps. There is a teeny scratch on the top of the amp, at the rear. Only spotted when taking the photos. Otherwise, as new.

Plenty to read about in the Firebottle trade section.

I am going back to my trusty Pioneer, due to parenthood and the conflict of a babe-in-arms and a pre amp with two volume switches...

A great value, transparent power amp for £450 - can post.

    Any questions, fire away (!)

Actually, the photos are just right. The bigger the better.

I've tried the demo version of this amp and it's excellent, ran my then TQ Claymore integrated very close.

Was it the Dual Mono or the AIR, Mikey?

The AIR can be converted into a Dual Mono which is very beneficial. This was a fairly recent discovery after Alan decided to sell his Monoblocks to me and then made a Dual mono from an AIR he still had.

They are very very good and possibly as good as The Monoblocks but no side by side has been done.

This is a very good price for a very very good amp. An astute purchase for someone.
