Glad the snow has gone and Grant can get out and about. I can sense some pasta being on the menu again tonight.

Damp, cold, windy and very gloomy here. It's a touch warmer but nothing like the BBC promised to be 13c with clear skies. I was looking forward to getting into the garden to do some more tidying but it's too unpleasant.. Thanks BBC for raising my hopes.

In fairness culpability lies with the Met Office who feed the BBC with their imaginative forecasts. According to their website it is 11 degrees here right now. Is it? Is it bollocks.

I'd like to know if sleet is unique to the British Isles. I reckon it is. Looking at international forecasts almost everywhere gets snow and rain but we seem to be the only place in the world to get both mixed together.
