Default Information on enclosures for preamp

I am starting a new project, a Preamp. I would like to know if anyone knows a source for good enclosures in particular say good quality wood or at least part wood. I can make from scratch as I have access to differen5 woods but if there is a known sourc3 it may help. Any thoughts would be gratefully received.

Loads of good, cheap enclosures for diy HiFi on ebay but not much in wood.
The first one here had wooden side cheeks but that's all I could find....

I think you're going to have to fully scratch build what you want.

P.S. Attached pic is MDF with Veneer covering.

Thanks Jim I had considered doing some veneer covering over the chassis. It’s a balance I know if I tackle all work it will take time as I have a pretty busy life as it is . I do have some nice burr elm which I may use , I quite like the idea of wood with acrylic.

Thanks nice work by the way.

Preamp are dealing with sensitive signals, a decent metal case provides good simple shielding and grounding
