Do your family (daughter and brother) not come round to visit, mate? If not, they should, as it's a family time the same as Christmas Day.
On Hogmannay, we'll be seeing in the bells at home with friends and family. Del's doing some nice nibbles and a good cheeseboard, which we'll be having with some wine and champagne, whilst watching the mad Scottish comedies on BBC Scotland, such as Still Game/Two Doors Down and/or Only an Excuse?, all of which are hilarious!
On New Year's day, we'll be doing essentially the same as we did on Christmas Day, sharing a nice lunch with friends and family (the 'star of the show' this time will be a beautiful rack of Welsh lamb) and having some drinkies, then monging out and watching a movie or two, through the home-cinema system, and once suitably sated, falling into a happy state of deep sleep, and seeing who can 'out-snore' each other...!
Marco.
