I like very much the phono stage of the Croft....and maybe montesquieu is right...instead of buying a "do it all" kind of phono stage, which I doubt for the budget I have would be equally good in all aspects, I think it will be better to go with a MC phono stage only...
In the end, some of the most common MONO cart are MC type...
