    Great news Jerry,
    I always worry about the courier playing football with the boxes en route.
    I will be interested to read your findings and whether you put nicer tubes in to get more out of them.

    The sovteks hardly have any hours on them so may need some bedding in.

    Is that one of the ring dac Arcam cdps? I've been thinking of trying one to reduce the box count in my new cabinet.

    No, it's not a ringDAC.
    Arcam DV29 DVD player. Quite upmarket in its day - about £1600 I think. I got it cheaper.

    I tried one of the Arcam ringDAC CDPs a few years ago and was deeply disappointed by the fairly bland sound. Sold it on straight away. YMMV.
