WANTED: B&W DM16 Speakers

Hi all

I have been using the DM23 speakers by Bowers and Wilkins for a few years, I really like them and would like to upgrade to the lower model DM16 which I can tell was a higher end model. Im expecting an improvement in sound.
Its proving very hard to find a pair of DM16, I will take them in any condition if I have to as Im very exited to hear the sound of them! and think they would work well in a home studio one day!

If anyone can reccommend any other vintage 80s 90s speakers please let us know!

I sold my pair to user Kev4130 on pink fish, back in may. Lovely speakers if you have the space for them. It's best to link out the APOC circuit on the crossovers. I should have the circuit diagram still if you find a pair and need them.

There's a pair of dm2 on here for £100 in really good condition, these are really good speakers I still have a pair which I'm using at the moment make sure you replace the caps etc in the crossovers breaths new life in to them.

Well they do look good but I feel that my DM23 will do for now untill I can find DM16 or similar quality yes the caps loose tolerance over time and effect crossover freq. If anyone can recommend any other speakers let us know.

Managed to grab a Pair! now its time to have a look at the Capacitors and figure out how to take out the APOC protection circuit!
