A few bits for sale:
Nasotec swing headshell for Ortofon SPU
Nasotec Swing headshell for Ortofon SPU, this ingenious device enables all the benefits of a parallel tracker without the hassles (pumps etc). This is the SPU version which gives correct tracking weight once the SPU cartridge has been transplanted. Sells for £295 plus postage, offered at £140 including delivery in UK. Really worth a look if you have an SPU.
B&O SP1 cartridge, this was one of the earliest stereo cartridges dating from the late 1950s, it has all the punch of an SPU as well as quite a way with delicacy. Low compliance MM so fits well into a stable of other low compliance cartridges (currently lives alongside a clutch of Miyajimas and SPUs). About a year and a half ago I scored an original B&O stylus assembly from a seller in France (unobtanium) and since then I’ve played maybe 30 records with it. I love this cartridge but it’s not getting played. £120 including RMSD in UK.
AT7V cartridge, bought here in the summer, I haven't used it much as soon after, I picked up a vintage SPU to use in my study system which this was intended for. The very fine 0.2 (!) by 0.7 stylus on these is very hard to inspect, it's sounding fine though and I'm sure has a quite bit of life left. £45 delivered.
Shure M3D cartridge, another early stereo low compliance beauty, I have two of these and really only need one. This one for sale has a Jico stylus which works superbly. £100 delivered.
