I heard a new pair of Avalons recently and was VERY impreesed. Effortless highend nonfatiguing sound. If i had the space I'd have these off you in a shot.

    Knock a wall through Tristan
Yes, they are exactly as you suggest, thank you. They reproduce the true timbre of voices and instruments brilliantly.

Totally agree. These should be speakers you buy, sit back and say that’s it - I’m done.

Space is the issue for me too or I would have had these.

Thanks Rob. I take it that it's the actual size of the cabinet that's too big for you.
As I've mentioned on another thread the Ascendants worked great in my room which is approx 14x13 with a suspended floor. I don't think that they need the amount of space around them (rear especially) that are in some reviews.

No problem. It is the size of the cabinet. I have a reasonable sized lounge but the wife likes fairly compact speakers unfortunately.

Space is now becoming an issue in my gaff so I'd like to move a pair of speakers on.

    All reasonable cash offers considered.

Part exchange proposals regarding all hifi kit welcomed.
A bit vague I know but don't want to rule anything out.

    Cheers

Despite my thread in 'blank canvas' these are still available until something concrete happens.

Having sold the Rienzi's, I'm trying a 'keep the roll going' bump
