Will it survive and go back in the garden or will that be "it" for the tree?

It only takes a spare A380 and unrestricted air space over Germany...

It will survive and go back in the garden, then be used next year and subsequent years.

Being in the pot should limit the growth so it should be usable for the next 5-10 years depending on growth.

This year my daughter decorated the tree. She was proud and happy with her work.

Excellent. That's the right way to do it. We keep trying to do it, but it never grows properly. I suspect it's because the trees sold in garden centres at this time of year aren't the type to be cultivated.

To do it properly, they need growing from scratch.

Very cute. She's obviously delighted with the result.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
