Yes indeed I did read that somewhere as well. That is my next step. Now where is the bell wire I have?

Actually I may strip some ethernet cable and use a few strands of that.

Tom, how would you describe the SQ change when you first used your supertweeters?

Just as you described, it's subtle. I wasn't sure at all whether I was hearing anything but there was a perceptible smoothness in the upper registers and a slightly more easy feel - hard to describe. The real test came after a week or so and I took them out - preferred them in so in they stayed.

Try and buy from a UK seller Josie . I had to pay customs ( and Royal Mail ) a total of £15 for the last set I bought

So despite grand plans to build state of the art cabinets for these little supertweeters and a PM recommendation for a unique solution I've ordered bog standard wooden pencil cases to house this. The size (20cm x 6cm x 4cm) is perfect to fit on top of the speakers. So judicious use of a stanley knife, low speed drill, solder, thin wire, furniture protectors etc I will be done. Why go high when you can go low (cost).

So if I detect lots of resonance I can fill the case with - um - lead pencils.

Sounds like exactly the same idea I had when I mounted mine on my Tannoys. Total project time, about 15 minutes!

Just for you then Tom here is what I will be getting.

Observe the fine wood grain and solid build - all will, I'm perfectly sure, add dramatically to the SQ.

    Ah. A pencil box?
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Yup. Together with a metre each of red and black quality wire - total investment of less than £7.50 for the cabs. Every expense spared.
