    Default FS: Spendor S3/5R2 speakers

I've decided to sell my much loved Spendors S3/5R2 speakers. I still remember the first note I heard through them and being blown away. However, they've now fallen foul of my upgrade bug and have been superseded in my system by a pair of Fujitsu TD512s. So the Spendors are looking for a good home.

They are the first speakers I've owned that gave me the transparent real sound I've always craved. Coming from a LS3/5a root, they don't go down low, but otherwise are wonderful - especially with voice and acoustic music.

For those looking for specs, and a review here is one.

The speakers are in "as new" condition, and have been used in a non-smoking house. One owner from new (bought from AudioT in Cheltenham).

I'm looking for 650 plus shipping for them. I have the original packing.

Best of luck with the sale.

My wife wont let me sell my SP1s-spendors are fabulous speakers.

I know exactly what you mean about just sounding right.

Hope someone takes stewardship of them and they get as loved and cherished as they deserve.

Haven't got round to putting these on ebay - so still available here for a while longer.
