Just checked out the prices those items at Bellman's went for
SP10 in obsidian plinth, Sony arm £1400
    Two Quad 11 amps £780
Garrard grease bearing 301 with possibly knackered bearing £1900
Michel gyrodeck with SME 309 £1500

No electrical or mechanical condition reports, sold as seen. I hope these prices include the auctioneers commission and VAT!

I bid on several items but did not 'win' any. Was near the Mags but was beat. Would love to have had the Kora items.

The auction fees (with vat calculated on their fees) are in addition to the hammer price.

Seems there quite a lot of people in the room bidding but live Internet bidders mostly won the items. Commission bidders hardly stood a chance.

They don't! And there was nothing wrong with the Garrard's bearing, from what I could tell.

Well, I didn't win any of the six items i bid on. I blame the bloke who blabbed the auction details all over the internet...

The only gear I might have been interested in was VTL power amplifiers. But I decided not to get involved.

Prices definitely on the high side. The only bargain I could see was a Tandberg 3000 r to r that went for £70. Sadly, I only bid £50.

The infinity speakers were a bargain especially the 4.5. Somehow I have a feeling they'll be on ebay in a couple of weeks for about £2k.

Depending on the condition of the heads, that was still a bargain. IMO, the Tandberg 3000 series of reel-to-reel machines, easily beat the popular Akai 4000D.

(BTW how much did the Keith Monks RCM fetch?)
