    I remember the S100s appearing on Hi-Fi News front cover, and they being described as panel like.

    Heard them at the 92 show and considered them against ATCs, they were described as a little fruitier..

    That's about the time I first heard them. I thought they were excellent. Once in a while you hear speakers that stand out because they sound right and those did as far as I was concerned.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    I bought a pair of tatty grey Harbeth M20s ( the forunner to the present model ) which sounded so much better than
    LS3/5as.
    I had them resprayed in black ( by a car paint shop, for £40 ) and they looked stunning.
    Slightly regret selling them, but my black P3-ESRs are superior loudspeakers.
