Blazing sunshine and sweltering hot here. Must put the sun lounger out and dig out some suncream.

    (just kidding, it's 2C and snowing )
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Look on the bright side - most likely no work tomorrow, if conditions remain the same!

We took the chance to go out yesterday and get things in, as I knew that the weather would get worse.

So we went into Chester, early doors, did the bulk of our Christmas food/drinks shopping, before the herds of the 'great unwashed' descended, bought the tree from our favourite garden centre: https://www.bluediamond.gg/garden-ce...-garden-centre which is huge and has a big Christmas department, selling all sorts of lovely ornaments and decorations, so we got a few bits there and then headed home.

Just been outside, and fought through the snow, getting coal and logs in for the fire, and dragged in the tree, sawed some of the bottom off it, to allow water to penetrate, and popped it into the base, then filled that with water. Just need to let it stand now for a bit and settle/acclimatise, before decorating it, which we've decided to do today, as we won't be going out anywhere!

    Happy days

    Marco.

3 inches of snow here and still coming down. Looks lovely but plays havoc with normal living.

Are there no taxis in Hampstead, Brian?

Straight to the door, for the old one, and everyone can relax and have a drink. Same on the way back - job done

Sorry hear of your plans being upset, but if it were my 20th birthday, short of WW3 occurring, one way or another, I'd have been making damn sure I got there to have my meal!!
