Brace yourselves folks. It's going to get pretty windy according to the forecast. Storm Caroline is heading our way!

It's windy, raining and very gloomy, pretty mild at 12C though. I expect it'll get windier and even wetter, as the 'storm' makes its way across the UK.

Hmm. Looks like the dog won't get a walk today. The rain is getting heavier and he doesn't like it!

The forecast for your neck of the woods over the next day or so does not look good Grant. Bitterly cold with snow. Roll on spring!

It's the after effects of snow that I don't like. Slush all over wet roads, that then freezes and makes any vehicle journey a gamble.

Years ago while I was driving in these conditions, a woman came flying along at about 40 mph in her car, as if the road surface was normal and dry. She slapped her brakes on and spun down the road about five times, bouncing off several other cars and the front of the van I was in.

    Nah, roll on Christmas!!

Apparently, we're also in for some snow tomorrow... Bring it on (as long as it's not too much)

At the moment, here in Wrexham, it's dry and a little overcast, but still with some bright patches in the sky, and just hovering under 10°C.

Heavy overnight rain has now given way to a bright, sunny afternoon here in sunny Weymouth. However the wind is gusty and the temperature is around 10c. Forecast is cold for tomorrow and Saturday with rain on Sunday. Doubt any snow as it is a rare event here.
