They think the tweeter is broken, not the crossover, and want to repair it. With a six-month warranty on that!

When I have 4.5 years warranty left?? I wanna know how that works. Will update - let's find out about their customer service :-) I have heard that it is good.

Hope I don't have James' problem.

I am just letting them repair it. Full warranty assured.

I have it back now and seems ok. Fast service but no idea what they did - nada info.

As long as it works, problem solved.

Does make you wonder when you can buy 40 year old Celestions and suchlike that are still in working order and yet these fail within a few months.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

It does make you wonder, but Google it - they do not have a bad track record of failures or problems so far. Time will tell. It is a young company I believe. Not sure I would rush to buy Q Acoustics again but I'll get them through the 5 year warranty first.
