Smile Hello from me. My intro...

    Hello Everyone

Thanks for accepting me in to TAOS.

As someone who appreciates high quality in all things and a deep love of music, I have been keen on high-end audio since before I left school. That’s over 40 years ago now.

Of course, as kid I couldn’t afford top end kit but went straight into the hifi industry from school. This way I could vicariously enjoy the best of everything and also benefit from trade discounts! Initially I was involved in sales and eventually moving on to custom installs etc. I’m no longer involved in the trade but of course still love music and have a good system.

My system hasn’t changed for many years and it still sounds great. See my current system in my signature.

I have an eclectic taste in music but its predominately contemporary jazz. Although I will listen to most genres as long as it’s good!

About my username... In the early days of the internet, special interest groups had dedicated message boards and these would sometimes be divided in to “rooms”. Hence the term Board Room.

I found TAOS while searching the internet for some info on some old kit. I’ve accumulated quite a bit of stuff over the years. Some of it no longer working but could still be worth something. In my efforts to declutter and get back a bit of money I’ve just started to put thing up for sale on eBay and will post links here if that’s OK and I have permission to do so.

    Thanks.
    B R

    Hi there. Welcome to AOS.

Can you please put a name in your profile. Knowing what to call each other keeps things relaxed and friendly.

If you have items to sell, we have the Private Exhibitions section for this. Once you offer an item for sale, links to the ebay listing can be added.

You don't pay fees to sell here and many members are willing to collect.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Thanks very much Geoff.

I've updated my name. Yes I agree it's much friendlier.

I'd like to add a permananet signature but dont seem to have that available in my profile. Is it possible? Thanks.

    Robert
